                                                                                TFT CHAPTER 12: The Message

(Authors Note: Same deal as the last chapter. I couldn’t think of a good TF for this so I just substituted a request I had and used it for this.)

It’s been a week.

After we were picked up by The Organization everything became worse. They locked up Thomas. The stress of him being forced to kill his sister combined with the brainwashing he was forced through, his mind shattered.

He’s gone insane.

Thomas’ parents learned about the new of their daughters death, and their sons “mysterious disappearance”, as The Organization calls it, and they did not seem to take it well. They’ve been trying to ask me if I knew anything about it. I had to lie and say no, and that hurt, they deserved to know the truth. They must be fearing for their life. Just imagine being a parent and having your child just disappear and then learn that your other child has been found dead. It’s every adults worst nightmare.

On the other hand, I’ve had a somewhat normal week. Except for the interrogation.

They police had called me in for some interrogation, since I was one of the people who was the closest to Thomas.

“State your name” The Police Officer said.

“Alex Hinch” I said.

“Age” Another one said.

“15” I replied.

“So, reports say that you were one of the last people to be spotted with Thomas” The officer said. “Yeah, we were just hanging out” I said. That was true. We had spent that day walking around town exchanging funny stories about things that happened to us. Thomas was telling me about the time him and Colin got mooned by some teenagers while they were at a Ben and Jerry’s. “Had he been showing any abnormal behavior while you were with him” The officer said. “No, same as always” I said.

The officers sighed, they definitely weren’t going to get any details from interrogating me. Despite the fact that I knew exactly where Thomas was, none of the questions they could’ve asked me, would’ve related to what really happened that day. They decided to let me go, figuring it was just useless. I walked out of the Police Station and walked down the busy sidewalk. I stopped outside of an electronics store, there was a commercial on about the newest Nintendo games. They were pretty much all from the spring and early summer timeframe so I already had them, but I’m pretty sure Thomas would love to have these games.

Suddenly the screen flickered. I paid no attention to it but it kept happening, on all the TV’s, at the exact same time. Suddenly the TV cut out. Then it appeared.

The Figure was there on TV, with some person tied up in a chair. “Hello Citizens” he said in a calm voice. I looked around he was on every screen I could see. I pulled out my phone and the same video was there. “What’s going on” I said. “I have hacked every television station in the local area and every digital device” The Figure said. I looked around at other people, they had stopped and were looking at their phones. “As you can see here, I have an innocent civilian tied up here” The Figure said. The person in the chair looked scared shitless. “I am here today to show you that you my power and how none of you are safe” He said. I could already see what was coming but to everyone else it was a big shock.

The Figure reached out his hand to the person and let out a small shock. Then the changes began.

The person began to shrink as the ropes began to loosen. I noticed something with his skin. It seemed to have a yellow tint to it. Then I realized he was growing yellow scales. The scales continued to grow all over his body. His fingernails turned into noticeable claws and his feet burst out of his shoes. A cracking sound was heard as a small tail grew out of his back. The changes went to his head as green scales grew all over the top of his head, removing all of his hair except for a small tuft which turned red. A giant shell grew onto his back as two bracelets appeared on his wrists. His expression went blank. Then he grew a mischievous grin. He then looked directly at the screen, then it cut to static, then back to what it was before. I looked around at everyone, they all had a shocked expression on their faces. Then they all started to scream and run around in terror.

I made my way through the chaos and into a nearby alleyway where it wasn’t so crowded. I pulled out my phone and dialed Isiah. “You saw it” Isiah said when he picked up. “Yeah, everyone's freaking out” I said. “Yeah, my mom had to take my baby brother to the other room because of it” Isiah said. “I feel bad for these people, they have no idea what's going on” I said. “But we do” Isiah replied. “Yeah” I said. “So, how long until it attacks” Isiah said. “Probably not much longer, I’m gonna head down to the base, get Zack and I’ll meet you guys there” I said. “Okay” Isiah said, hanging up.

I dashed downtown through the crowds of people panicking. It was much safer to go there as a human instead of a Greninja, don’t need to cause more panic. I got to The Base and made my way down, with Isiah and Zack appearing a few minutes later. The Commander walked up to us. “We have been trying to locate where the message was sent from but we haven’t been able to find anything” He said. “Any reports of an attack yet” I said. “Not yet, but be careful, it could strike at any moment” The Commander said.

Suddenly the whole building shook. “Like right now” Zack said. We ran outside. We saw some explosions off in the distance. “Lets go” I said. We morphed into our Pokémon forms and took off.

We arrived at the source of the explosions. The person had been transformed into Bowser Jr and was now attacking. “Alright, you guys take it from the sides, while I charge the front” I said. “Why do you get the front” Zack said. “Cause I’m water and last time I checked that thing can breathe fire” I said. “Fine” Zack said. He and Isiah rushed Bowser Jr from the sides landing some hits that didn’t seem to do much damage. I charged from the front and hit him with some Water Shuriken. It seemed to do decent damage but Bowser Jr was still standing and looked like it was far from backing down.

“Damn, will this thing ever give up” Isiah said as our 4th charge seemed to do nothing. “Hold on, I have an idea” Zack said. “What is it” I said. “I need you guys to distract it while I go get something” Zack said. Zack then ran off. “Zack, wait” I yelled out, but he was already gone. “What do you think he’s planning” Isiah said. “I don’t know, lets just trust him” I said. “Ok” Isiah replied. We then turned out attention to Bowser Jr.

We continued to distract it for awhile and he just seemed to not want to back down, deflecting all of our attacks and never looking like he was losing stamina. Us on the other hand, were getting slowly tired, and I didn’t know how much longer I could last.

“HEY GUYS I GOT IT” Zack said, running towards us.

He was holding a syringe with some weird liquid in it that I recognized as the thing we used on that one person who turned into Kirby (Authors Note: Chapter 5 for those who forgot).

“ZACK YOU’RE A GENIOUS” I yelled. Zack threw the Syringe at me and I caught it. I then charged at Bowser Jr and inject him with the
serum After a flash of light, there was only a naked guy laying in the middle of the road.

“Looks like our work here is done” Zack said.

We all headed back to the base. When we got inside The Commander was waiting for us. “Good job” He said. “Not yet” He said. A scientist then ran up to him. “Sir, we’ve found something and you need to see it” He said. “What is it” The Commander asked. “You have to see for yourself” The Scientist said.

We all ran into the main part of the base and over to a computer. It was just a black screen with a dot on it.

“What's this” The Commander said.

“The location of the broadcast” He replied. “Why is it just a blank screen” I asked. “We’ve been trying to add a satellite picture to it but nothings showing up” He replied. “That doesn’t make sense, our satellites cover the entire earth” The Commander said. “Well then maybe it’s not on earth” Zack said. “What do you mean” I asked. “If none of the satellites are finding it then it’s not earth” He said.

“Well then how do we find it” I asked.

“I don’t know, it was just a suggestion” Zack said.

Suddenly a new, unfamiliar voice spoke up.

“I can help you with that”
